He isn't but yet he still beat Hillary. That's the story. You are NOT going to win with "Trump bad". The only way to win is to run a candidate people can support. There are too many and a growing number of us that will no longer support the "lesser evil" especially when that is not clear.

Agree. As much as I dislike Trump, I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils. The Clintons are the ones that turned the Democratic Party into another pro-corporate anti-labor party like the Republicans.
A couple of posters here attack the source, the source is a highly respected highly intelligent person. Known across the globe.
terry Tao, does not attack trump but merely points out just how unqualified and suited Trump is to being POTUS.
Over a year later, it has become clear to most people in the US, that only is trump unfit to be our POTUS but he is actively damaging the structures of government, and he is trying to undermine the Judicial branch and the 4th estate.
I very much doubt Trump will "win" in his bid to turn the USA into Russia 2.0, but the damage he is doing as he tries too, will push many millions of americans into poverty and keep many millions more in poverty.
Putin's "warm war on the west", has been massively successful. Putin has damaged the credibility of our electoral process, and damaged our already very weak democracy.
Perhaps the best response to TrumPutinism. would be to change to a true and stronger democracy with a single transferable voting system.
Terry is right, the emperor has no cloths, most everyone knows this. even most of those denying it know it, they simply refuse to face the reality that their gamble did not pay off.
Meanwhile Trump brazenly breaks norms and laws and the Republican party under Mitch and Ryan turn a blind eye because they have to deliver the promised Trillions to their donors. (anyone can google Republican donors etc to verify )
