I think all of us, right or left, will agree this past year has been "unusual", to put it nicely. It started off at the inauguration , with Trump's very unorthodox, very negative acceptance speech. Instead of trying to unify and uplift the nation, he chose to demean everything that came before him, and even other former Presidents were not pleased with his words or attitude. That set the tone for the next 10 months.

Then there is the matter of the revolving door of appointments and staff that is the highest in recorded history. His Trumpees see it as "draining the swamp", but these folks are HIS SWAMP, people he chose as the "best and brightest".

Another issue is that Donald Trump treated the WH as a vacation resort. He promised to work his ass off, but , instead, he golfed, went to a few rallies, and spent time at Mar A Lago. He criticized Obama for golfing, but he did more in 3 months than Obama did in years.

He also alienated every other world leader and country, many of whom we rely on for support and assistance. We put ourselves in a position where every other country was questioning our motives and whether or not they could depend on us. He wanted to isolate us, and he has done a bang up job at it.

Then there are the ongoing investigations. When in Hell have we ever seen so many people looking into the behavior of a President, who has only been in there less than one year ? All of the "best and brightest" people he hired are being indicted or investigated.

Trump has pulled one bone head trick after another for the entire year. It is almost as if he loves the controversy and does these things just to be arrogant. His tweets have become even more unhinged, and even his own party (a party he NEEDS to survive) are beginning to say "WTF is he doing ?"

Shaking up the system is one thing, being a dumbass is something totally different.

Three things, as this video with Robert Reich shows.

1. Trump is really not a president of USA, because he is not governing.

- A president who is governing, does not blast his Attorney General for doing his duty and recusing himself from an FBI investigation of the president.
- A president who is governing, does not leave the top echelons of departments and agencies empty for almost a year.
- He doesn't publicly tell his secretary of state he's wasting time trying to open relations with North Korea. Any president with the slightest interest in governing would already know and approve of what his secretary of state was doing.
- He doesn't fire half his key White House staff in the first nine months, creating utter chaos. A president who governs works with his cabinet and staff to develop policy. He doesn't just tweet new public policy out of the blue -- for example, that transgender people can't serve in the military. His secretary of defence is likely to have some thoughts on this matter....

Trump is still your President!

Trump is performing his duties of Executing the laws of the US and Commander in Chief of the armed forces flawlessly.....in other words, winning.

Hillary failed to get her coronation, Trump won the election.

The USA was without a president for 8 years while a novelty election winner posed as a hologram in the whitehouse while setting fire to the middle east, dividing the nation and had his boot on the throat of the economy.

When you see so many posters attacking the OP and the Source , with almost zero replies even attempting to counter the argument you know the OP is dead on target.

I have asked many a Trump supporter here to show this forum any video of Donald Trump discussing POLICY in a real and meaningful way.
Real granular policy, not Trump shouting about nonsense, but video of Trump talking real detailed policy....
Not once has poster been able to produce even a few minutes of Trump discussing policy details like a real boy.

This is how we know Trump is not really managing a damn thing. He knows almost nothing about any of the big Policies he mouths off about.

where are the hours of footage where we see Trump discuss TPP in a detailed way?

where are the reels of Trump breaking out how and why ACA should be repealed or replaced?

Who has the all the video of Trump stepping through his ideas for "Tax Reform" . breaking it out, explaining the nuances of the proposed bill?

Trump never talks policy because he knows nothing about it. He can't sell GOP bills because he can't answer a single question . The average book keeper can explain tax reform better than trump. half the posters here on both sides know about the topic mentioned than trump does.
for the last year we have just had a shouty man shouting and bragging in oval office. we have not had a POTUS, just a dude losing his head and tweeting like a teen who has just been told they can't go to the dance...

We've never had a President who HATED this country as much as Mr. Trump's incompetent predecessor; what a disaster he was for our country.

We now have someone who is proud of our country; why the Democrats have a problem with that is absurd.

It really has been one year now without a president. Just a conceited, lying clown. Except it's not funny. This is supposed to be our country and those of us who still care about it will keep fighting to keep it great. Sad that to some people, it's all about winning and they probably think it's a big joke that we got stuck with stupid Trump.

All their gloating posts demonstrate that they just do not care except that they won. Too bad they don't care about the future of our country.

I think you have hit on the most important aspect of Donald Trump's failures in this job with one word......."can't". He CAN'T get anything accomplished because he simply does not have the mindset or skills necessary to do anything. He is way in over his head and has no idea where to begin. He also has shown the inability to prioritize tasks and focus........he loses interest real quick and moves on to something else.

He and his followers are finding out that this little experiment in politics has failed. The concept that a businessman would be a perfect choice to run America, because "If he could successfully run a company, how different can running a country be?" seems logical. But the two are apples and oranges.

Trump is without a doubt the most ill suited person in the world to hold this very tough job. He lacks the integrity, character, strength, temperament, and intelligence for starters. Couple that with him not being able to divorce himself from his goals of promoting himself and his Trump brand, and it makes for a really bad combination.

Bravado and tough talk only get you so far, there comes a time you have to prove you can really do the job, and that time is now, and we are seeing the results.

A rigged election, shoved aside Bernie, had chafee acting a shill to make the dem primary look like a legit race, avoiding press conferences, getting questions ahead of time, all the media and political prognostigators laughed at the thought of Trump being elected, lynch/comey bill clinton collusion on the tarmac add up to a criminal act if you don't prefer use of the word, 'coronation'.

Never mind that it makes no sense.

The FBI, to include Mueller, Comey, et.al., needs to be investigated.

Senate Democrats are dragging their feet on Trump's appointments and have been since day one.

Presidents fire people all the time.

This president was famous for it even before taking office.

The president is the Commander in Chief of the armed forces.

He can implement whatever policies he likes.

As for Reich...

"Prior to LCTM and Enron’s demise, CFTC Chairperson Brooksley Born, favored stronger
regulation of the Derivatives industry. Indeed, the Wall Street Journal reported how Bornon
April 21, 1998, stood her ground in a skirmish with Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan and then
Treasury Secretary Robert Reich during a meeting of regulators before the President’s
Working Group on Financial Markets (a committee which was formed after the stock market
crash of 1987)213. Mr. Reich brusquely informed Ms. Born that she had no right to explore
whether more regulation of Derivatives was needed."

Reich is a duplicitous corporate *****.
