I have nothing to talk about the hipster racism thing because I don't have a clue? BUT Lena Dunham also wrote a very lengthy apology for stepping in and publicly comment on the alleged rape and what she knew about it.
I gather it is a personal relationship issue with her friend, her and the accuser.
A hipster is basically just another term for a liberal yuppie. They are some of the most discriminatory, close minded people you will ever meet.
So I have no doubt some of them are racist. I have seen where these people hang out, trust me there isn't a black or hispanic person in sight for 10 miles

Nah there's usually a token minority in those groups. And there will be one woman with a black boyfriend or a mixed race child and everyone is so proud of themselves for being cool with it.

They don't feel proud of themselves because it's no big deal to them. Younger hipsters have grown up w/that mentality. Not like older cons who can't get beyond skin color & feel the need to preface their racism with "My good friend is black"....

Oh it's a big deal...not that the friend is dating a black person or has the mixed race child but that they get to be so openly cool with it. There is no higher form of virtue signaling. I know a hipster type woman who posts pictures on facebook every time her kids hang out with her friend's mixed race kids. "Look at me! I'm being tolerant!" She doesn't do this when they hang out with other white kids.

You're right, hipsters are too young and vote the right way to be racist.
Now as they get older and vote for a different political party, well THEN we can all call them racists.
