Even the fake news WaPo admits it's not in the bill, but that won't stop the left from using fear tactics. Have a Happy Thanksgiving knowing that your retirement plan is not only safe, but will probably go up in value when these tax cuts go in to effect.

It was a proposal back in October but you're right it is not in either version.

So they should pass a bad bill because it might increase retirement accounts.

That's the GOP plan.
Blue states help offset their incredibly high taxes by their citizens deducting state and local taxes from their federal.

Which spreads the cost around to other states.

So if they can no longer do this than the citizens of blue states will know the true cost of living in a Liberal state.

And the wealthiest Liberals in these blue states stand to lose the most.

No wonder they don't like it lol.

It's funny how you hate the estate tax b/c it's double taxation, but somehow live this proposal to double tax, b/c it "punishes libs".
It's also funny how red states fund more of their budget through federal tax dollars than blue, (states like LA, MS and the like take unto 40% of their budgets from federal taxes $$$). For the side that always cries how things should be done at the state level, b/c "states know better" you suddenly no longer feel the way for states that actually fund themselves at local level

All this is is a movement to destroy state governments and let private business take over the commons

Well it's not like red states won't lose the same deductions...and I fail to see how this is double taxation the way the estate tax is.

All this means is the blue rich will finally be paying their "fair share" lol.

Besides, all blue states have to do to even things back up is to lower their state and local taxes......

Easy peasy.

No...it's ending the blue states financing their extra social programs and policies by means of the federal government.

You want to be a "collective" state, then you can finance the cost of it yourselves.

Except that that is a disingenuous strawman, as you know that if the tax reform goes through, that people in high tax states will revolt against their state governments, and demand that their taxes be lowered. That is the real intention, and it can't be done without cutting tons of jobs and privatization

So basically you post gibberish for the first point and ignore the second because you have no actual retort.
