Donald Trump's campaign was frenzied and frantic, people at the top have said — descriptions that could be highly consequential for the White House and to Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller.

Saltzburg said he did not know whether any laws had been broken in planning or convening the meeting. But he said the number of messages involved in arranging it and the apparent deliberateness with which the participants took part suggested there at least could have been breaks in the chaos.

"It may explain some things," he said. "It may excuse some things. But it may not explain everything or excuse everything."

Nor does it excuse them outright lying about it. That's a felony and can land Flynn in jail for 5 years, if he survives it!

Chaos is one thing but incompetence and dishonesty is another. What I want to know is, the senior official who directed Flynn is likely Kushner. Will he be next to fall?

And what will Trump-a-thin-skin do to save him?

Stupidity should never be an excuse for someone sitting in the Oval Office, simple as that.

Clearly, contacting Russia in December would equate to collusion to throw the election that took place the month before. Well, at least for the left that makes sense.
