well, if I had a negotiation meeting to attend but the other person said he's not going to negotiate, I wouldn't bother going either.

all he proved is that he's fairly good at grade school pranks...and this is our president. pathetic and embarrassing.

This isnt leadership.
It is leadership. Granted its leadership you and others might not like but it is leadership.

President Trump lead with a tweet expressing the facts and the truth and Chuck and Nancy couldn't handle the truth. With no ideas and nothing to offer they started the government shut down. I bet they didn't even ask the other members of their party if leading the government shut down this way was a good idea. But, like I said they don't have any ideas, good or otherwise, just knee jerk reactions. Pitiful example of democrat leadership in a congress that is losing respect like never before. Democrats really need to stop recruiting and electing candidates from the Westminster Kennel Club. If they do continue they could at least select from the Working class and not the Toy class.

The dems outmaneuvered again by Trump.

The dems look like obstructionists unwilling to do their jobs, while Trump does a press conference about how he's working with the Republicans in congress to make progress.

Trump is nothing but a disgrace. That's it. Just a disgrace.

Brilliant! Every step President Trump takes has meaning. The empty seats represent the Liberals asleep at the wheel. (again) The empty seats also represent 2 total losers. Boo Hoo!!... they did not show up! Nobody missed them.

Reminds me of being back in college and some of the frat boy games and things that they thought were funny. Trouble is, this isn't college, and everything Trump does affects all of us and the rest of the world. Being the buffoon he is, he thinks this gig is another reality show, and his cult laps it up.
President Trump and republicans show up for work. Democrats don't. We are not only effected by what President Trump does but also by what Chuck and Nancy do or is it your opinion what they do is unimportant. It looks like they made themselves and the democrat party very unimportant today with the big exception of starting the government shut down.

trump never said there was no deal, trump only said he didnt SEE a deal. remember that schummer and pelosi both said there would be no deal without certain things being done. again its a case of the democrats standing up and saying we are willing to compromise if you agree with everything we want.

He's not good. He's supposed to be a president and he's a moronic jackass.

Why would they bother to go to a meeting with that numbnut, when they can just meet with the GOP?

Lol. Nobody needs Trump to pass legislation. The idiot doesn't even know what is in it.

Watch him talk about it--he has to keep looking down at crib notes, because he has no idea what is in this bill. He's Donald J. Bankruptcy--not some business wiz.

I'm glad you are amused. This isn't SNL -- this is real life.

This makes our President seem like a child -- AGAIN.

Someone who is truly an effective leader and really interested in getting things done wouldn't play games like this -- unless he is playing to a crowd that has low expectations.

That's the problem -- he doesn't care about what is best for this country -- he only cares if his fans rate him #1.

Pathetically, insecure man.
