Turns out Warren is not alone in claiming ancestry she didnt have based upon family stories. In this case though the family story was a known lie (unlike Warrens) that was told specifically for their families financial benefit. (Warren does not appear to have benefited from her claim). In this case the grandfather was German, and claimed Swedish heritage in order for his customers to buy things from him.
The family that kept up this known lie for generations? Why the Trump family of course.
Making his attacks on Warren insanely hypocritical.
The Daily Beast? I cannot believe that anyone wouldn't see the difference here. I know that some nationalities were frowned upon even early in our country's beginnings and many hid from their "roots", but were not signing statements attesting to the facts surrounding their heritage. Hey, look at Obama and his claim of being a black American! (raised by his white grandparents, biological grandparents).
Warren's case was different. It dealt with a class that could get a preference in jobs/promotions, etc.
A lot of people claim a lot of things when they in business and trying to make a sale, but when they check a box on an application claiming "preference", at that point it becomes a little different and more serious. Old Warren may not have gotten anything out of her lie, but if not she was trying. I believe she did benefit, and that tracing one's roots is easy enough to do. She probably figured going that far back would work out for her when it came to proof. In truth, anyone that publicly supports Hillary Clinton can't be anyone of high moral character.

You betcha.

She’s willing to fake her way to the top. When she came to Harvard Law School, she was — believe it or not — considered by some to be a “minority hire.” She listed herself as a minority on a legal directory reviewed by deans and hiring committees. The University of Pennsylvania “listed her as a minority faculty member,” and she was touted after her hire at Harvard Law School as, yes, the school’s “first woman of color.”

Harvard didn't use her statistic as a female Native American to defend its diversity record out of thin air. She claimed it. She benefited from it. Harvard believed her. How many times has that happened to you in your life.....someone writing an article and using a fake racial heritage to describe you? None, i'm quite sure. These things don't happen randomly and without substantiation, and to assert that it did is intellectually dishonest.

Please cite where Elizabeth Warren was hired based on any perceived minority status. Please cite proof.
Trump lied about having a great health care plan that everyone would love. Everyone knew it was a lie. He still won and would have without this lie.
Does that make the lie somehow better?
