From the article....
Toomey said there were no plans to cut the programs
And none exist. The OP doesn't not list a single cut planned for either program.

/thread.

Cutting Medicare and Social Security is clearly the goal here. Rubio said it out loud.

No it isn't.

And the article, does not list a single cut to either program. '

Maybe you have different information. Can you tell us what's being cut from SS or Medicare?

We have soldiers stationed and fighting all over the globe. As long as we keep that up, we are going to have to come up with the money to do it.

Right now we are putting it on the credit card.

Wish I had every dime we and our employers paid into our social security account. I'll even buy the insurance part. It would still be throwing off more money than our current social security 'entitlement' does. And I would still have the principle. And no threats from the crooks in Congress.

Still paying after all these years.

End of the world, I'm telling ya. We should listen to Schumer and Pelosi, who only have middle America's interest at heart.

It's never gonna work because only the wealthy will be getting a real tax break. Californians knew this and that's why they supported Hillary. Ditto with Oregon and Washington; those are the only 3 states whose population remains fully informed. Everyone else is a rube of one flavor or another.

Someone told me that all those economists who supported this awful tax bill were actually paid by Russia. I believe it, too!

Woe is me!........ How I long for a better America. I envision one where a Black Lives Matter bumper sticker is on every car, and Benghazi Day is celebrated for the victory it was. Hillary, how could you have let us down!!?? Just when we neeed you!

Funny thing is, no such bill has been proposed by Republicans.

So the question is-are Democrats liars, or simply delusional?

Look in paragraph 1,242, line 12. It says clearly, "Tax Bill Could Push for Cuts to Medicare and Social Security"

Arrogant.

With this bill if you own rental property, you can't write off the mortgage interest. That is ridiculous. Is this true?
