In the deepest red of red States. We're allowed to float since you Trumpists are gloating non-stop about Hillary losing (a year after the fact no less), and when you lose seats, always resort to the "blah blah blah lost 1000 seats" defense. You know what that sounds like to me? Somebody's getting tired of winning the GOP lost in the most red, or second most red, state in the country to a pro-abortion Democrat of all people.
Democrats are giddy with happiness over winning one Senate seat. Oh, and a couple months ago, they won two other lesser seats.
I share their happiness. I hope the trend of the American people rejecting them hand over fist for the last ten years, continues!
Keep up the good work, Demmies!
As much as I dislike the Democratic Party (or the current Republican Party) losing a senate seat in Alabama is huge....it is like flipping a senate seat in current California...and I believe that if a Democratic candidate in California faced with similar allegation, he would still have won....
It is a big black eye for Trump, here I agree with the media....
Hopefully is a lesson to learn for the future.....to pick "airtight" candidates with no ethical and moral vulnerabilities....

Awwwwwww...a pep-rally thread for today's losers. If you are so sure of yourselves, no need to post these types of threads.
They need to comfort themselves with the 1000 seats meme, because it's shrinking. Your candidate has to be truly bad and repulsive to lose to someone who is pro-abortion in Alabama for goodness sake!
Let's be clear about one thing: yesterday's election of Doug Jones, while a major victory for Jones, was more a vote against Moore than it was a vote for Jones. Jones and Dem ideas didn't win in Alabama. Rather, Moore lost. Fair or not (and I am still opposed to mere allegations being cause to ruin someone), Moore was a highly distasteful candidate. Also, fair or not, this election victory by Jones will probably be better for the GOP long term than having Moore in the Senate. It's also good that Bannon took this hit. While I think that Bannon has a lot of value, I think he got in way too over his head in choosing to back seriously flawed candidates; seriously, backing a candidate like Moore (and sexual misconduct allegations put aside) who only barely won two statewide election as state supreme court chief justice as a republican in a state as red as Alabama was reckless. Its like the Tea Party movement. While I like the movement in many ways, the backing of candidates who would have a much harder chance of winning against a Dem vs. establishment candidates was not a wise idea.
Moving along, it'll be interesting to see how Jones votes in the Senate. Will he be Chuck Schumer's lap dog, or will he have a conservative streak in him as he tries to build support for the 2020 election?
too bad your misleading link is from 2016. Have you bothered to look at how many elections Democrats have been winning at the federal, state and local level in 2017?
He will be out next year....this was nothing against trump, no matter what the left or the MSM states....
