If an agency as large as the CDC cannot publish research about transgender people, that's a huge step toward pretending they don't exist or should be second-class citizens.

Cases will only be reported by the CDC if they meet "community standards."
Otherwise, there will be no "evidence" of them.
This takes us squarely back to the early days of the AIDS epidemic when the Reagan administration absolutely refused to allocate any resources to face it.
