Andrew Sullivan: The Assault on Mueller

The Republicans couldn't be any more transparent on just how utterly corrupt they are.

We had an election.

It was a fair election.

The losing side is using the DOJ to stage a coup.

Did I miss anything?

Bullsquat. The GOP needs to protect itself from a special prosecutor staffed with lawyers that are hopelessly compromised by their hate for Trump

Just put Mueller, McCabe, Comey, Rosenstien, Clapper and Brennen under investigation, and be done with it.

Well, the responses so far confirm Sullivan's article: Republican voters simply cannot be honest. Sixteen hearings on Hillary Clinton, yet investigations into the Trump campaign's alleged conspiracy with the Russian government--run by Mueller, whom the Republicans have long respected and admired, until now (of course)--are somehow "tainted." What a bunch of hypocritical, dishonest, bootlicking snowflakes.

Sounds like you want an SS team then.

2 of those are Trump teams, I guess apparently 'not loyal' in Trumpland.

If they're so innocent, what're they worried about? Honestly, Trump followers are the stupidest--or at least, the most ignorant, fearful, easily-baited--people on the planet. They are absolutely clueless to the fact that Trump and his media hold them in utter contempt, see them as good for only one thing: hating liberals, keeping the nation divided, and keeping Trump in office. Other than that, he would just as soon spit on them as look at them. For those of us who have been intermittently subjected to the inane Trump show for the past 40 years, this is business as usual. For his followers, he's some kind of new and "fresh" voice. It would be laughable, as Sullivan says, if it weren't so tragic for the nation.

Yeah, but you wouldn't like it if I told you what it was.

Trump supporters are stupid? Really? You morons believe the Russian fairy tale, an invention of the Clinton campaign. Talk about stupid
