There is a limit to this callous oligarchy worship though. Inequality is now the worst it has been in the past 100 years, worse than 1929 before the crash. We are rapidly approaching the levels seen in the most unequal countries of Latin America where an oligarchy rule with an iron fist. As income and wealth is concentrated in fewer and fewer hands, the democracy stops working as the political system only pays attention to the needs of the ruling elite with extraordinary wealth who fund the campaigns, like we see this tax bill does.
Yes, sad that some refuse or won't see this. Denial is deadly to the middle class.

This is a tax scam not a plan, it drops my effective rate into the teens! while increasing costs on the bottom 50%, Trumpcare will rocket up, medicare, medicaid, SS will all be cut to fund this tax scam for the rich.

The only way to get your effective rate in the teens is either low income or charity/capital gains/dividends... since the tax reform didn’t address those issues, I find it ironic that you wish tax rates to be higher since you obviously don’t pay income tax rates... let me guess, you find it necessary to have low capital gain/dividend tax rate... how nice of you... care too much, huh!
