Plus people are leaving the EPA and Department of State in "droves". That's good news. There are too many people employed by the government.
Not as much draining to do if it dries itself up!

When the Pentagon starts being pared down to a mission of defense as it should be, that'll be good news. Our addiction to asinine wars of choice of no benefit to our country is anything but.

The presidency shouldn't be a popularity contest. I'm not a fan of Trump or many of his policies, but whether or not he's a great president has absolutely nothing to do with his popularity.

Trump partly agrees with your view. He has said many times that we have wasted 7 trillion dollars in the middle east and come out with nothing.
Why 7 trillion could build 100 USA/Mexico walls!
