More proof that the tax cut is benefitting the masses. I bet a lot of domestic staff will be seeing an extra $20 in their pay envelope soon.

Goldman Sachs gives such bonuses to bribe their top executives from leaving. Remember TARP bailouts for Goldman et al?

Bailed-out banks gave millions in exec bonuses, NY AG report shows - ABC News

They got heat for such. However, in 2016 they were again paying out 3+ Billion in bonuses:

Bigger bonuses may be back at Goldman Sachs - Oct. 18, 2016

I believe that Mr. Trump has retained a surprising number of former Goldman Sachs people for his administration. I guess the best way to 'drain the swamp' is to bring the swamp into your home.

the gs employees earned the bonuses and were going to be paid next month, but the company paid them early due to tax planning. all legal. it is prudent for companies and individuals to take advantage of tax law.

this thread appears to be nothing but jealousy.

how about critics wait to actually see how the tax bill plays out in real world next year? if the new tax law doesn't generate new job growth, give workers more money in their paycheck, and stimulate the economy as evidenced by an increasing gdp, the democrats will have legitimate facts to criticize republicans.

Big shock. In this, there's no real difference in the party leadership - both sides love helping out the rich and sticking it to the working class. The far-right just adds a side order of bigotry and theocracy to the mix, but rest assured - the rich will always get theirs... and yours...
