Considering that stock mkt growth, GDP growth, lower unemployment, stronger military, fewer illegal aliens coming into the country are all in my own interest, I'd say that I voted in my best interest. Especially after finding out about all of the DNC, FBI, Hillary, Uranium one, Obama's Iran deal shutting down Cassandra and propping up Hezbollah, and Debbie wassermsn shultz/Amwan treason...

Are your gears not working??
What in the world are you talking about -- what interests did Trump voters vote against themselves ?
Trump has tried to honor more campaign promises than any president in our lifetime. His base voted for those policies. That you don't agree with them means they voted against YOUR interests.....

You'll find out next year when Congress rams through a bill to slash Social Security and Medicare.

Any senior citizen, or any middle class working person for that matter, is shooting themselves in the foot if they support Trump and his agenda. That measly little $1,000 tax cut you get will pale next to the loss of Soc Sec and Medicare benefits.

By law, they can only slash 4% max of Medicare.....don't let those pesky facts get in the way.

The 4% rule only applies to "pay-go" rules under reconciliation. Congress can pass new legislation that either modifies the pay-go rules or exempts larger Medicare cuts from the pay-go. Entirely possible if the Repubs retain control of the House and win a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate.

So, you admit it's not going to be "slashed", just using scare tactics to promote something that, maybe, sorta, kinda, might, happen....maybe....
Congrats....

Not gonna happen.

But hey, you have been 100% wrong with just about everything else you have said about Trump & GOP since 2015. Why change now.
