identical approval and disapproval ratings in one national poll after their first year in office.

Rasmussen Reports' latest poll showed Thursday Trump had a 46 percent approval rating compared to a 53 percent disapproval figure, which were near the same percentages Obama received at the end of 2009.

Trump Approval Rating Same As Obama After First Year, at Least According to One Poll
They said One Poll had them close, and that Poll is a Rass poll which has always skewed towards the right. The vast majority of other polls have trump at a far lower approval rating.
Besides, I thought Polls were all BS and Newsweek is nothing bunch of Liars according to the trump supporters...........

Dream on, and the only thing BO has in common with the fat man is golf and Trump is playing a lot more of it than BO ever did. One third of his corrupt presidency has been spent on the links. This from the guy who said he would be too busy working on behalf of the American people to play golf! Lie much Donny?

Fake news = news Trump doesn't like.

Polls: You can't rely on polls....unless they show something beneficial towards Trump.

Rasmussen measures likely voters. That's important. Many polls measure registered voters, or even worse, adults.

Trump's number will soar when the population at large realizes they have been duped by the media and the tax cut actually benefits nearly everyone. That will be bad news for Chuck and Nancy, who railed against it, and bad news for some Democrats politicians who voted against it.

IMO, how Trump compares to Obama or anyone else is simply the stuff of Trivial Pursuit, and is about as interesting as Ted Williams batting average.

yes, they do interview likely voters. thank you for pointing that out.

what was interesting to me about this rasmussen poll is trump isn't as unpopular as the media portrays. he hasn't lost support since he entered office if looking at Rasmussen's historical stats. the fact, he polled the same popularity/unpopularity numbers as Obama at this same time in barack's first term.

this poll doesn't mean 2018 is a slam dunk for republicans to retain house in 2018, but maybe republican's and trump's favorability with voters going into the midterms is not as dire as the MSM and the democratic party seem to think.

Rasmussen is a robo pollster that doesn’t call cell phones, which at least partially explains their usual Republican bias, because they exclude primarily younger voters who only use cell phones and are less likely to be Republicans.

It’s hard for me to see how the automated pollsters such as Rasmussen and Survey USA can continue to operate and try to produce meaningful results relying only on landline telephone surveys, when landlines are becoming obsolete.
