We all know Trump family & co are traitors for even willing to have support of a foreign enemy to win the elections.
The emails shown by Don Jr show it all. He knew dirt was coming from Russians, and still replied "I love it" and took on the meeting to learn more.
Up to 19th century, half of trump's associates would be hung on the tree by now. Thankfully, we have a due process now where Mueller will "crack Don Jr. like an egg" according to Mr Bannon:
After news of the meeting surfaced last year, Bannon reportedly said: “The three senior guys in the campaign thought it was a good idea to meet with a foreign government inside Trump Tower in the conference room on the 25th floor – with no lawyers. They didn’t have any lawyers."
“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad ****, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately," Bannon said, according to the book
It's in his new book, so trump snowflakes calling everything they don't like "fake news", won't have much room to do it this time.
Our naked emperor's own strategy guy (Bannon) said his old team committed treasonous acts!!! WOW. He just threw Daddy dimwit and the dumb & dumber brothers right underneath the bus.
Bannon doesn't want any part of this when the hammers falls on this ultra corrupt entity masquerading as our government.
It all depends on what assistance you are talking about. I’m not ok with the campaign doing illegal. But I’m fine with information being used if it is out there. Information is used by both parties to damage their opponents. As long as it is real information, I don’t care where it came from.
In exchange for the dirt they, the Russians, want sanctions lifted. When the Magnitsky Act was put in place the Russians retaliated with the blocking of adoptions. Yeah right, just about some poor Russian children. Could this be considered collusion? Quid pro quo.
It's starting to look like that slimmey Bannon character may have scruples, or just singing like a canary so he doesn't get caught up in the mess, the later is what I believe.

That is the difference. It has been proven (and re-proved) that Russia generated a TON of fake news that helped Trump. It has not been proven yet that Trump was involved in that (I believe it will be), but there is absolutely no doubt that it happened, and that he benefited from it.
Would he have won without the Russian help? Nobody really knows. But your comment "as long as it is real" is spot on. Unfortunately, it does not help your cause.
A lot of it was real though. People resigned over the emails. There were few to no denials from the senders or recipients of the emails in question. Considering all of this, why would I believe they are false?
You have to love this concluding paragraph from the Guardian article:
Quote:
Trump is not spared. Wolff writes that Thomas Barrack Jr, a billionaire who is one of the president’s oldest associates, allegedly told a friend: “He’s not only crazy, he’s stupid.”
