When Barack Obama took office on 01/20/09, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was at 7,948. The market increased by nearly 250% during his eight years in office and was at 19,827 when he departed on 01/20/17. In 23 months under Trump the market has increased just to 21,792.

The Fed raising rates is one reason for the sell-off. Maybe 10%. The other 90% is on Trump and his idiotic trade policies, and his instability.
