To me, all of this “Obama/Trump is causing the stock market to go up” stuff is silly. I’d say that a few trillion dollars of free money from the Fed has a lot more to do with the big rise.

OK OP, you're saying since the economy is great under Trump, he caused it. Since Hurricanes Irma, Maria, and Harvey happened during Trump's term, he must have caused them too

No, it's not.

We had huge stock market gains throughout 0bama's presidency, and yet he is the first president to never see a single year of his term as president, with an annual GDP growth of 3 percent, and he held two terms in office. So the stock market was not reflecting the 0bama economy.

Trump has seen the last two quarters with over 3 percent growth, and if the fourth quarter was also 3% or higher, then it would be the first time in 14 years that this has happened. So at least Trump's economy is seeing both economic and stock market growth.

It will be interesting to see what our economy does with these new tax and regulatory changes.

Trump had to keep those airplanes in the air. Its the only way they could keep an eye on the Stock Market.

Nah, rest assured the righties will blame "Obama" for the inevitable fall. Or, they'll claim "The Clinton Crime Family caused it to discredit Trump." It'll be nonsense, whatever it is, because that is what substitutes for facts in right-wing land.

Just remember that all these members of Cult 45 who are licking Trump's boots and giving him credit for everything just short of the sun rising each morning wouldn't have given him the time of day a few years ago. Back then, before he was the Republican candidate, Trump was a joke - a caricature of tasteless excess, a spoiled rich brat, and a slimy fraud who couldn't be trusted. He was entertainment, and nothing more.

Now he blunders into the white house and we're stuck with cultists who worship him, despite the fact that a few years ago none of them would have been stupid enough to trust Trump with their retirement fun, their house for a weekend, or their wife or daughter for a night. The hypocrisy and partisan personality cult worship is laughable and absurd.
