I hope he does it today so that we can all get a clear look at what a "stable genius" he is.

To think, we used to have Presidents too busy with actually leading in a coherent manner to put on stunt shows like this. But for Trump, maybe this is the least damaging use of his time (other than golfing).

The problem here is that many see this as an either/or battle. Its not. Trump is a childish narcissistic buffoon, but much of the media, most specifically CNN, has launched an outright campaign to discredit and destroy a duly elected POTUS because they don't like him. And naïve fools sit by and cheer them on because they hate Trump as well and obviously cannot think past that fact to see the damage that having a supposedly somewhat unbiased media actually waging war on a POTUS will do long term . CNN has become a joke , and has put it self down to level of FOX or even Breitbart ,but for the left . Acosta and Don Lemon have become shills for the anti Trump campaign.

None of this is a good thing, no matter how satisfying it may seem to some for them to target Trump because they hate him. We have left the world of unbiased and truthful reporting solely for the sake of telling the truth to the American public behind us in 2017, and its not Trump's fault, its the media that has willingly gone from pretending to be unbiased to openly attacking Trump at every single turn, as we saw with the medical press conference yesterday, in which they all but insisted that the Dr should be declaring Trump unfit due to dementia or Alzheimers.

I now turn to Europe when I want to be able to expect something close to the truth from the media. The American media is pathetic.

Great stuff from Trump that will strike a chord with his supporters.
Until the media stop thinking they're part of the official opposition to the Republicans and start being honest reporters their reputation will continue to sink.
Their reputations will be destroyed when Russian collision is found to be a crock.

And having a buffoon of a POTUS who revels in acting like a jackass is?

The media's credibility polls below both Congress and Trump's. America gets it.
Our media is focused on highly politicized indoctrination and even weaponizing it with fake and distorted stories, fake anonymous sources, to take down a president they don't like and half the country they don't like. They bully their opponents with charges of racism, homophobia, islamophobia, ignorance, nazism, etc etc.

Like the story of the emperor with no clothes, Trump has pulled the wool off the media and exposed it for what it is.

You are right about that in one sense, Trump is surely playing the sensationalist media with his bizarre and divisive rhetoric. However it is indeed the job of any self respecting reporter to point out that Trump's behavior is NOT normal, and that the way he is conducting himself as POTUS is in every sense continually damaging our democracy. The core message that Trump is an affront to our American way of life, and that his behavior places every single one of us in danger is absolutely a valid observation - even though there may be a sensational overlay on some of this reporting. People have to use their critical thinking skills and set aside their emotions when examining the facts at hand.

Not at all. But why are you willing to be lied to by the media you wish to rely upon for accurate news simply because their lies make you feel better about the buffoon getting hammered on?

And don't say you are not. I have never yet seen you call out CNN or any other media on this, while I am betting you have called out FOX for doing the same. You seem willing to believe anything you are told about Trump if it scratches that itch of TDS you have , without any anger that the media is playing you for a fool not smart enough to see through their agenda.

Why do you accept that? I think Trump is a lying jackass. I think FOX shills for Trump and the right. But I also see that CNN has an agenda to embarrass and tear down a duly elected POTUS through misinformation and outright lies, and it offends me just as much as FOX does when they do the same. I don't get the left willingly gobbling up the crap fed to them by the left media because it makes them happy that Trump is getting ragged on.

Oh come now. CNN and such have gone far beyond this. And reputable news orgs like BBC and Reuters find it possible to simply report the truth without all the BS and false stuff that CNN makes up. Badgering the WH doctor about whether the sitting POTUS has dementia or Alzheimers even after the Dr that has been there since at least Obama has declared him fit is more than just sensationalism. Creating completely false stories and then trying to pretend they were just innocent mistakes once called out for them goes way beyond sensationalism. Its a deliberate campaign to discredit a POTUS that doesn't kowtow to them.

Time to wake up. And I say this as someone who thinks FOX is the same sort of shill for the right, and who has voted Kerry, Obama,Obama, and none of the above the last 4 elections.
