Need to shift immigration away from the Middle east, Central America, Africa and Haiti and towards East Asia, India, Europe. Importing non-skilled people serves no purpose at all.

This has always been the reality: Not everyone who supports Trump is a racist, but they do not consider racism to be disqualifying in the President of the United States.

They have a very strong social safety net that includes free education, universal healthcare and public pensions. How conservative is that??? People would rather be lied to than told they are being lied to. They want more of the last eight years, which proves the assertion... and the irony.
As for Trump -If that is actually what he said then I agree with the basis, but not the way he said it. We do need people who are educated and who want to assimilate, not people who hate this country and come here for menial jobs and welfare support. That is counterproductive and a burden on society. 20m mostly uneducated illegals are well more than we can handle as it is.
yes, our past few administrations had been bad for this country and the world.
