Its one thing to talk about a different immigration policy, and its something completely different to dehumanize entire countries of people. This is not the America I was born in. Its becoming something much more cruel and coarse.
Oh the sensitivity! Everyone over 8 uses such language these days. Stop pretending everyone on the Left doesn't use the same terms.
It's only another Trump bash-fest and you seem to enjoy participating. We know the game.
Immigrants are disproportionately likely to use welfare vs natural born American citizens. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...port/71517072/
Were you not aware of this? Or are you just confused by the difference between raw quantities and rate?
Its okay to be ignorant. I just hope you weren't being disingenuous. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt.
The CIS report on immigrant use of welfare was debunked by Cato, which is NOT a liberal think tank.
Really? So why didn't Lindsay Graham, Trump's new BFF and golf buddy, who was sitting right next to Trump, deny it?
Any cowardly GOP senator or rep knows they are obligated to defend and lie for Trump. They have to praise him as god, as well. Believe these cowardly fawning sycophants? Lol--I think not.
I'm not sure about doctors, but many engineering, accounting, research and biology-based companies want to hire more immigrants because it's good for their bottom lines. they don't pay immigrants the same wage as Americans, and immigrants will work long days and weekends (without extra pay) because most of them do not have their families here with them.
so, I'd be wary of industry-based articles and magazines.
Thanks. My son is a CPA and after graduation he applied at a number of companies and was offered around $45,000 starting (this is on the west coast). Maybe they can't hire accountants because of what they are paying? He went to work for a public agency started at $55,000 with full benefits.
I wonder if a solution for some of these firms might be to hire recent graduates and provide in house training or subsidize the cost of them getting their masters or CPA rather than importing labor?
