I've never been called a racist, but if it ever happens I'll take it as a compliment, because being called racist would indicate that I'm not 'politically correct'......and there is nothing worse than being called 'politically correct'.

Raw number truth, that many seek to deny....
no welfare WIC HEAP EBT food stamps section 8?
College tuition assistance programs? Unemployment?

Just focus on social security... because that's the end all be all for benefits...

It's like saying an F150 America's best selling vehicle is inherently dangerous because it's involved in more accidents... well color me shocked that one is sold every 42 seconds per day...
Color me shocked there is a higher white population on social security when the population is higher...

Exactly how many boomers were born 1946 on?
70 something million?

Back when 4-6 kids were the norm and there were lower costs and secure jobs to support a family of 6-8...
Would it come as a shock they make up 2/3rds of the population on social security? They and the younger of the generation before them?

I was thinking the same since the writers and signers of the Declaration of Independence lived in a time when slavery was a common practice and some of them actually owned slaves.
The Constitution was penned in a time when "We the People" meant mostly white men that owned property. Women were second class citizens and black people were property. yes that is harsh but it was what it was.

Fast forward to today and minorities that were once looked down on have made huge strides in America and have contributed to our great society as a whole.

Most people don't care what someones skin colour is but they do care about their actions and the "content of their character" as MLK said.

When you think about the incidents over the past several years that have ignited the topic of race once again it was mostly started by young black men acting like fools and the police calling them on their antics which resulted in their deaths. Imagine if Michael Brown hadn't bullied the shop keeper and stolen the cigars and then when Officer Wilson stopped Brown and a friend to tell them to get off the street and instead of attacking Wilson due to his guilty conscience he choose to follow the request for his own safety and got onto the sidewalk. He would be alive today.

It was incidents like this that reignited the smoldering challenges of racism and turned it into a raging wildfire of politics. The charge of Racism is now a weapon used by the Left to attack an opponent.
It is ridiculous.

Racism is savagery if by savagery you mean a primal emotion of fear of the unknown.

the OP is shamelessly disingenuous.

Yup. As usual. Never to return to defend their stance or cite evidence of claims. Just post an opinion and hit piece to smear conservatives...

I did not used the word "Conservatives"... If you are identifying yourself in that context and going on to relating your context of being a Conservative to the OP post title? That is a free will choice you are making in doing so.

There is no need that I come and defend the title of the post, it already has the elements of "Definitions" included, which is the definition of a racist and the definition of a savage.

The post title is: A Racist is A Savage....

The definition of savagery is far more than what you try to limit it to meaning.

Selective Amnesia may suffice for you, BUT... the the reality of a long history tells much more, guess one missed all the history of racism in America and the reality of today is born of the history of yesterdays..... which is filled with countless elements of historical racism as well as the effects of it, and all that it has affected.

Oh yeah. They say that those that refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. A significant portion of today's immigrants have the same mentality with regard to our culture that our ancestors did with the Native American one. Do we really want to repeat that process?

Statistics

Politicians won't tell the real truth, and people don't read... they chase and get consumed in "drama spins" based on political madness.

Exactly which table on the provided link shows the numbers you've posted above?

Here are the census.gov numbers for the year 2012, which the OP's link refers to:

Who Participated in 2012?

  • The black population: At 41.6 percent, blacks were more likely to participate in government assistance programs in an average month.
o The black participation rate was followed by Hispanics at 36.4 percent, Asians or Pacific
Islanders at 17.8 percent, and non-Hispanic whites at 13.2 percent.
