Predictable Trumpling response. They cannot accept that Obama's stock market performance has been better than Trump's, so they have to just accuse you of 'not understanding' the numbers. Of course they do not tell you what it is about the numbers you're supposedly not understanding, and if you press them to do so they will either say something like, 'the absolute numbers were bigger' (which has already been discussed in this thread) or something like, 'I wouldn't even know where to begin' (which is a euphemism for 'I cannot really find anything wrong with your numbers but I want you to look stupid so I'm going to accuse you of not understanding your own numbers'), or something else to that effect.
And for the record...the tax cuts handed to these corporations while most are enjoying record profits is kind of like a bail out/hand out...don't you think?
Just like the tariffs corporate profits are paid by the consumer.

Obama got the team up to 6-6. Some praised him for that. Others said he held the team back and it should have improved faster.
Trump took the team from 6-6 to 10-2 and did it despite being moved into a more competitive division.
Obama technically gained more wins. Coach Trump presided over a better team. You are trying to say the Obama team was better. In order to say that, one must be a liar or dumb.
As usual we have a slew of Trump fans around here screaming at everyone how great the stock market is doing under Trump.
And while it certainly is doing well, the reality is, it's only doing a little more than half as good as it did under Obama for the same number of market days. From Calculated Risk:
"At this point, the S&P 500 is up 23.2% under Mr. Trump compared to up 41.1% under Mr. Obama for the same number of market days."
Terribly strange these Trump fans aren't telling everyone how great the stock market did under Obama.
Now I expect the usual accusations that Calculated Risk is some sort of liberal blog (which is a joke, but I digress). Such accusations are, of course, pathetic, since one can check the accuracy of the claim just by punching in dates at a stock market website such as Marketwatch and calculating the figures for oneself.

His ~58% gain brought them to 8-2.
Trump came around and brought them to 10-0, a ~30% gain.
Obama gained 3 games, Trump gained 2.
Obama inherited a mediocre team and made them a winning team.
All coach Trump did was extend that success. 8-2 is already good.

Considering that there were only 2 years prior to the election of a republican congress, and 6 years after the election of a republican congress, your observation is rather trivial.
When Obama got the team, the liberal administration had them fall down drunk. Luckily for. Obama, they ran out of booze.
It was their sobering up that got the team back on track, even with Obama saying every person should play QB regardless of talent.

When Trump got the team, they were all in top shape and had made great improvements. Thanks to the work coach Obama had put in the previous 8 years.
But not long after Trump took over, they started resting on their laurels and began partying hard after every game. As a result their record hasn't improved in the last year-and-a-half.
