California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall that companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state.
A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento, and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle-class families.

Good job california! Drive out more businesses to fund your illegals!

It's almost as if they are trying to chase jobs out of the state. This is what happens when you elect insane people to govern you.

I understand. The GOP will be cutting what goes back to the state, so they will get the money from who benefitted the most.

Should not be a problem for high profit Companies.

California won't be happy until the only businesses left in the state are the illegal aliens selling ice cream from a push cart.

If they stay in CA, shareholders will get upset, when they decide to leave, their largest shareholder will turn out to be CALPERS and they will nix the move.
