Indeed, if Democrats are to be held responsible for murders/crimes by illegals, what of Republican culpability? The Las Vegas shooter used a 'bump stock', which the Republicans refused to ban. They also refuse to implement reasonable gun laws to prevent people of obtaining military grade weapons.
Recall after Las Vegas that many Republicans, after tweeting their 'prayers', said it was 'too soon' to discuss gun issues? I wonder if enough time has passed.

Citizens commit more crimes as a raw number because there are so many more of them.
As a percentage of population, the only accurate statistics that are kept are at federal level, and illegals are DRAMATICALLY overrepresented.
Illegal apologists point out that federal crimes represent a tiny minority of crimes, but again, not every state jurisdiction keeps tally. It is the same kind of lying though omission and obstruction as Dems claiming that there is no voter fraud because they do not allow reasonable voter ID laws so that anyone could prove it.
Until proven otherwise, federal statistics are all that we have, an yes, illegal immigrants are dramatically overrepresented as violent criminals.
