I don't understand the reasoning other than future voters who likely won't even bother to register to vote. Unlike old Republicans, the "new" Democrats voters in the future will be to busy dealing illicit drugs, changing diapers and trying to automate everything than to vote.

Every thing the party touches goes straight to heck in a handbasket immediately. They want as many illegal aliens, drug traffickers from Mexico with an open border, third-world refugees as possible and than the ignore it and act like these third-world conditions are just an urban experience.

Old habits die hard for the Democrats. They traded the real plantations of the past for the current metaphorical plantation. Keeping as many people on their plantations is a great way to guarantee a steady stream of votes.

Poor people submit more easily to government domination. “Keep the masses unfed and unarmed.”

That's an easy question to answer: they want everyone equally in misery.

I think a lot of liberal Democrats truly believe that lower-class, minimally educated people from third world countries can fully assimilate into mainstream American society and, over time, achieve a high standard of living just like everyone else.

That is why they have no problem with open borders and letting anybody into America who wants to come.

Yeah liberals and open-borders "conservatives" erroneously claim everyone is essentially identical, interchangeable and compatible or can and should be made so...except for conservatives, whites, Christians, males, Westerners, etc...funny that.

Poor people are easier to control and it translates into generations upon generations of Democratic voters.
