So, Wray is complicit?
Sounds like Wray just showed his hand. He is part of the problem, by his stance on compassion for crooks within the agency.
I say fire McCabe and let Wray quit. Bye sleaze bags.
You do know that it was Director Wray who briefed Nunes and gave him the information that is in this 4 page Memo that everyone wants released ..... RIGHT???
Wray, Sessions & Rosenstein are taking a lot of heat for keeping their mouths shut about one of the most serious Investigations we have ever seen in this Nation. It all has to play out carefully with all "i's" dotted and "t's" crossed.
The Axios story and this CNBC story are just that -- Leftist talking points and anonymous sources for things they know nothing about. Don't buy into it, wait for the Indictments.
Would you feel the exact same way if the roles were reversed and it appeared that corruption in the FBI had targeted Democrats and Hillary from a Republican administration?
I may lean right and be considered partisan on certain subjects, but I want an honest neutral broker with our legal system, not one influenced by partisan politics. Thus if Hillary were potus (I cringe at the thought), I'd say she should clean house based on the things that have already come out. It would seem as if various people are involved to some degree, and they are all trying to cover each others back. However even if they are just being loyal and have no dirt on themselves, this is the top law enforcement agency. Thus you cannot even have the appearance of impropriety, otherwise no one can ever trust that the FBI puts honesty/integrity above all else.
Lastly, our founders did not want two sets of rules, one for surfs and the other for an aristocracy. Yet if people see that the little guy gets the full weight of the law, yet the fat cats get to skate over greater infractions, it creates a cancer from within that undermines our republic.
I have to admit that I found Wray to be a sketchy Trump pick at first. His connection to Chris Christie and the timing of his nomination by Trump the day before Comey was to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee had me wondering if he was going to be a lap dog.
Chris Wray was AG under the Bush administration from 2003-2005. Before that he worked in the DOJ specializing in corporate fraud and was was a prosecutor involved with 9/11. He's a Yale grad and has proven that the rule of law is more important then one man. I've gained respect for him for being adamant that the FBI does NOT belong to the president, but to the rule of law.
Kudos Chris for stopping dictator wise guy Don in his tracks. The FBI is not part of the family run business.
