I'm sure everyone has opinions including Mueller, that doesn't mean they cant do their job. Any agent not doing their job should be removed but political opinions shouldn't matter.
There's a difference between having an opinion and being a rabid ideologue. Just take a look at some who post on here (either side) and think about if you'd want them investigating or judging you given how hyper-partisan they are...

I’m not surprised Johnson fell for this conspiracy theory. He’s not the brightest bulb, for sure. That said, I AM surprised to have seen others deem him a “moderate” on this thread. He really isn’t a moderate at all if you look at his positions and voting record.

This "secret society" nonsense was off a text message someone sent about not showing a calendar. "What is this, some sort of secret society?"
Who thinks this sort of nonsense is going anywhere?
And he may just be correct BUT what exactly were they meeting for? THAT is the million dollar question as it could be for a birthday party all the way to a coup. Nothing is actually provable as of yet so.......
While I believe the text message reference to a “secret society” was somewhat tongue in cheek, and just a whimsical characterization for their clandestine activities ... people will focus on the term because of the “conspiracy theory” flavor of it, rather than the secrecy to which it alludes, and the true conspiracy that it represents.
There is an anonymous source who claims to have inside info, who claims the group consists of not only elements of the FBI, but Federal Judges, former state AG’s, one current state AG of a “large state” (california being the most likely one), and others within the intelligence community. This source also claims that the “missing texts” do include discussions about alternative ways to bring down Trump, should the Russia collusion narrative fail .... which includes the option of a violent takedown. If this is true, we’re talking conspiracy to commit murder, and high treason.
Keep in mind, the missing text messages cover a 5 month period .... that’s a lot of time, and a lot of potential damning info that somehow just got lost? Yeah, that’s the ticket, my dog ate my homework.

It may or may not be about Trump or Russia. It could be any number of FBI investigations. The FBI don't only go after one scandal at a time. Remember the Russian probe existed in 2016 while the Hillary e-mail probe was opened, closed and re-opened by Director Comey.

Oh God, come on. This was in DIRECT reference to Trump, and in context with this dude’s derogatory and inflammatory comments about Trump IN THE FREAKING MESSAGES.
