The interest rates were artificially low. It was only a matter of time. As the Fed, which I suspect is part of the Deep State, raised rates, it made the economy go south, which was intended to make Trump look bad.
Either that, or my other theory is that the bogus market was working with the artificially low wages but once Trump helped them start to rise, the bubble burst.

Forget the Deep State - Looks as if the incidence of Deep Paranoia posts here on C-D's Politics forum is escalating.
In addition to this one, we've currently got threads going questioning the patriotism of those who fought for American independence during the Revolutionary War, a post somewhere - can't recall which oddball thread - that favorably compares Donald Trump with George Washington, and another equating socialism with Naziism and supporting child labor, plus one touting Vladimir Putin as the best thing since sliced pirogies.
