Air Force One is primed to receive an upgrade that will include new refrigerators expected to cost American taxpayers nearly $24 million.

The US Air Force awarded Boeing a $23.6 million contract in December to replace two of the five "cold chiller units" aboard the aircraft used by President Donald Trump.

The argument is that its not cheap to keep 3,000 meals refrigerated.

But if those meals are needed, you would be better off with MRE's. And it would save 24 million.....

Let us not get carried away. No fan of Trump but this is the problem of maintaining an airline fleet of very few examples. And these few airplanes go well past the normal. So let it be and hope the Feds got a reasonable deal.
