With their orange champion in deep doo-doo over his many transgressions, congressional Pubs are working overtime trying to convince the public that Mueller is a radical leftist and that law enforcement is corrupt and untrustworthy.

Just over a year ago, the GOP party line was that LEOs were heroes and that Obama was the devil himself for offering up criticism of incidents where police were killing unarmed blacks.

Maybe it's just me...

...but I think I detect a hint of inconsistency.

Anyone else?

They love police, hate the DOJ, NSA and the irony is that this is their justice department they are criticizing. Thank god Obama and Eric Holder are gone and we have Trump and Jeff Sessions in charge, can you imagine.

Yeah, that thing about them slagging on tRump's DOJ is beyond bizarre.

But then, flipping and flopping has become the GOP's best move lately.

These days, it's DOJ = "Dotard Obstructing Justice"

And his lapdogs, too.

Right, OP. It’s absolutely hypocritical of Trump and his cronies. Not that it should come as a surprise to anyone...

It's very difficult to adequately respond to hit-piece thread starts that are based completely on lies, but I'll try.

1. POTUS is not in deep doo-doo. He has just returned from a highly successful conference in Switzerland and I just finished reading an ABC (yes.......ABC) article describing a) the lack of interest by business leaders and political leaders in Davos re: the MSMs typical domestic coverage of our president b) large businesses who expressed commitments to reinvest in the US and c) world and economic leaders hope that the economy of the US continues to strengthen (which will in return positively affect other world economies).

Biased hit pieces masquerading as "news" are nothing but a joke. So are those who refer to POTUS as the orange champion and use the word doo-doo. Those engaged in such actions have so little self-awareness they don't even realize it.

2. LEOs ARE heroes. Every damned day they are heroes. Ask the wife of the 25 year old Detroit officer who just died a few hours ago after being shot in the head, whether or not her husband was a hero (Officer Glenn Doss - R.I.P. Sir)

3. You would be hard pressed to find a conservative who is so simple-minded that they do not understand that rank and file FBI are hard working, honorable patriots, and that it is partisan political hold-overs in the ivory towers of the bureau that are as corrupt as the the leadership in some third world sh*tholes.

4. It's just you.

Several blue states, like CA, have recreated the old South with their anti-federal government policies. Instead of "Big Cotton" we have "Big Tech". and that runs CA. Law and order don't matter in that state if it goes against their pc policies.

Both of my brothers are cops. Heroes? Well... the jury is still out on that one.

Parroting rwnj talking points seems to substitute for "analysis" among Trumplings.

I'm far from alone.

"Law and Order" concerns street crime, not special prosecutors investigating political chicanery. And yes, I trust Republicans on that issue far more than I trust the modern Democrat party.

Jordan, Grassley, Gowdy have been very critical of Mueller and the FBI with the most recent conspiracy. What in God’s name does Davos have to do with this thread. Tell me, are Freedom Party congressmen not conservative enough for you.
