Why do you people even use the celebrity? You fawn over them, paw after them, try to get them to autograph your used Kleenex. Do you pursue the plumber, the butcher or your doctor the same way? These celebrities you covet after are merely are simply entertainers doing a job. They aren't your friends, they aren't roll models and they darn better not be your heroes.
Grow up, get a life.
Celebrities are worse than useless in terms of political commentary. Why? Because they have to be "castable". If they utter any un-PC opinions, they mostly become uncastable because the producers enforce a strict political opinion code for castable actors.
Thus, the actor pool both gets filtered for extreme liberals and directly works to suppress non-liberal opinions. It follows that hearing any actors political opinion is like hearing an actor deliver on a script. The opinion isn't that of a person who is free to speak, if it is real at all.
