The border is open to global mass immigration and chain immigration, more amnesties on the horizon for illegal migrants, mass employment visas. Call it partially open borders if it makes you feel better, but liberals don't want to restrict any of it and usually push to increase it.
Can you give me a link to the conservative catechism where you were taught what liberals love and hate?
we got a new amazon ware house in town, I know somebody who got a job there, they can only work 30 hours a week, no more, and they can only work 4 hours a day.
On the flipside, in the US, Amazon increasing relies on Camperforce for seasonal workers. These are typically retired 60,70 and 80 year olds who are RV nomads.
Amazon gives them a campsite/ hook- ups and pays $11.50/ hr., plus bonuses. They work 10 hour shifts, 4-5 days a week, 3 months a year. Most walk 13-15 miles a day as a part of their job. They return year after year. Amazon loves them. They show up on time and sober, put in a full day without drama and do the job they are paid to do.
They work along side robots that increasingly replace humans.
Now, 2sleepy, it can't possibly be true that Costco has decent working conditions and pay.
Costco's CEO Jim Sinegal was a huge Clinton supporter in the last election, and according to lovecrowds and mtl1 all liberals aim to provide the most brutal working conditions for their employees.
You must be making this story up, 2sleepy!
Costco did not need a mandate to provide healthcare insurance for their part and full time employees.
I know what you mean OP. Liberals are only "pro worker" and anti-corporation and monopolies when it's conservative ran and owned. Being liberal is a de facto special protected class.
Can you please provide any facts to back up the alleged claims?

Warehouse workers, like many blue collar jobs, are underappreciated, underpaid, and overworked. Amazon IS really bad for that, but its far from the only one. The average warehouse employee works a lot harder than some person in an office(especially a government office), but gets paid terrible in comparison. We can thank the constant importation of cheap labor from third world countries for that. Supply and demand. More workers looking for jobs = less pay.
Plain and simple; If you are in favor of third world low skill immigration, then you are very much IN FAVOR of supressing wages.
Amazon puts all new hires through e-Verify, despite most states do not require them to do so.
People with limited marketable skills often have jobs that are substantially more physically demanding than those with skills.
Amazon warehouses also hire convicted felons, depending on the type and number of non-violent felonies.
And then there's the thousands of Camperforce workers, retired nomads in their 60's, 70's and 80's who work 10 hour shifts, 4-5 days a week for 3 months a year.
