North Korea kills their own people everyday or lets them starve to death and we are suppose
to be OK with that. Get a grip on reality of what is going on over there.
Not to mention they've threatened multiple times to 'destroy' the USA with nukes.

What she could have said is something like: she would have liked to have seen efforts to improve relations to secure a safer world, even small efforts towards that ultimate goal....(and still she would be missing the big picture and maybe I'm giving her too much credit).

Was she simply utterly idiotic in chastising our VP for not being 'respectful' to our wishful destroyer? Could it be that simple and stupid?

Or respect to the athletes.
North Korea has been threatening us and our ally Japan with nuclear annihilation for more than 6 months. If South Korea (who despises Japan for historical reasons) chooses to march along with them, they need to understand that we will, in no way shape or form, condone this dog and pony show.

I understand that it is a fantasy of SK to reunite with the north some day but this is a slap in the face to us and should be treated thusly.

The show of sitting and refusing to acknowledge the North Korean delegate -- was that -- a show for Americans. It means nothing.
Same goes for Whoopi's comments. If Biden had remained seated, which he probably would have done, Whoopi would be lauding him.

Total bull. Pence snubbed the host country with his stunt. Plain and simple. And it did it at the Olympics which is and has always been all about promoting peace through fair competition.

Why do you always post off topics? Aren't you sick and tired of it?

what tens of thousands of innocent individuals you are talking about?! How do you know they are innocent?

For somebody like me who actually lost friends and loved one on the battlefield, I know for a damned fact that "they" (the ones we killed) are not all innocent families! Gee Yeah, I said it. So what?

Oh lighten up. Analogy meant to make a point.

Even CNN is reporting that the 'snub' that North Korea was reporting wasn't there.

But North Korea is not promoting peace.

They are using it as a propaganda tool. And considering your response as well as those of others, it has yielded some minor results.

This is what North Korea does. They lower the volume and start to act as if they want to deal. They engage in talks, go to the Olympics, and smile a lot.

All the while, they are lying as they have no intention of doing anything to promote peace.

And YOU defend them.

Amen! They are widely believed to have killed a close family member with a nerve agent that could be spread by something as innocuous as a handshake and some moron libs here think that it was rude for Pence not to touch this viper?
