Unfortunately for your sociopolitical reasoning, absent being presented with an upstanding family man that platforms for he most crucial issues for the Right, putting a man into office who does takes precedent over personal moral concerns. That's reality, as it would be for any group.
The other side of that is that if the Left did not want Trump, then it should have stayed centrist on its social and immigration politics. Going so hard to the Left pretty much guaranteed that you were going to get the fastest-presenting candidate who would effectively oppose you.

They absolutely will condemn Democrats who do things way less egregious. The hypocrisy is boundless.
The ability to ever declare a democratic cantidate unfit due to being immoral in almost any way. Lying, no problem....sex scandal, no problem... incompetence, no problem....racist, no problem...... It's a new world and we have Trump to thank that none of these issues will matter in the future. Politics are now open to a whole new class of amoral people.
A lot of Republicans do not like Trump, they were even seeing if they could prevent his nomination. Trump was elected because Hillary was running.

Agree. Although other republican presidents were that way in the past, they just kept it hidden. Crooked Trump is a newcomer in politics, so he couldn't hide it.
Another difference with Trump: He was well known for being amoral, lecherous and corrupt decades ago. The Trumplodytes refused to see it.
