You may be enjoying a small resurgence but it’s your last hurrah. How do I know that? Look at the powerful figures in the religious right today. It’s all people who were big in the 80s like Pat Robertson, Jim Bakker, John Hagee, David Barton, James Dobson, etc. The only younger faces are people who are heir to a legacy like Jerry Falwell Jr and Franklin Graham.
This is the last hurrah for the GOP as we know it. The future is more diverse, more secular, and more free for all.

They are ignorant but a bigger problem is the immaturity. They have been incubated in a warm fuzzy fantasy which doesn't allow them to progress into adults regardless of age. They cry, scream at the sky, and soil their drawers over every meaningless shiny button put before them.
