The NRA is paying legislators not to even talk about guns if they can help it, and to vote against any and all controls on firearms. They should be reclassified as a domestic terrorist organization.

The extremist organization here is the Democrat Party, a group more dangerous than the KGB or the Brownshirts because they are on the INSIDE of our governmental system rather than on the outside.

The are the internal enemy Lincoln warned could be the end of our liberty.

Picking up steam, too. It's going to be harder to avoid businesses that don't support the NRA.

Money talks.

NRA website indicates 5 mill members-leaves 200 million adults not in NRA.

200>5
I wonder how true that number is. According to one talking head - the NRA sends him a membership card and a membership number ever year. He has never asked for one - nor paid a dime. Yet he has a sneaking suspicion that he is counted as part of that 5 million.

Wonder how many 'fake' members they have?

Getting 6.5 million people to become dues-paying members of a group like this is a remarkable achievement. For every dues paying member, there are x number of sympathizers out there who just can't afford dues. The ACLU, for example has 1.75 million members. From a quick google search, I can't even find the number of members of the 'Brady Campaign.' Doubtless it's a pathetic number.

The NRA has been often rated as the most effective lobby in DC by surveys of congressional staffers, despite being relatively low budget.
They have fake members just like all those fake followers on twitter.

Good. The backlash is intensifying. I guess ridiculing those students and telling them to shut up is not paying off for the gun lovers.

Yet the Republican party is in charge of everything. Why so scared?

They should have kept the mouths shut and laid low - like they normally do after every school shooting.

But - they had to attend Cpac and I guess they figured the best defense was a good offense.

Looks like they figured wrong on that one.

Libs still haven’t named a single law that doesn’t infringe on people’s rights that would have stopped the Florida shooting
