Do some research on what New York society thought about him in the 1970s. He hasn't changed a bit except to get worse.
I couldn't give a rat's patoot what he was like in the 70's. People change over time and youth often do stupid things. It's merely your biased opinion that he is the same person as in the 70's or even worse. He's done more good in the past year than any past presidents from decades ago, Republican or Democrat.
Keep it up Trump haters it's fun to watch. Trump has mapped out his plan and yes it could work.

He wasn't a youth in the 70's and he wasn't changed at all, except he could finish a sentence at that time.
Mexico needs to be insulted considering how they have taken advantage of us. What did Trump say that wasn't true? Legal immigrants from Mexico (who aren't the problem) do not get "sent" here they come on their own with papers in hand. Mexico is encouraging/sending their undesirables here illegally. What part of that isn't true? No one should be demonized for speaking the truth.
The plan isn't to make them pay for it "voluntarily" therefore they can object all they want but it doesn't mean they won't pay for it anyway. I really don't care one way or another the wall needs to be built.
My guess is that with the opposition of the landowners along the border who will file lawsuits (with merit) against eminent domain laws to acquire their property, it will take 20 years to adjudicate a right of way, if it happens then. Trump, blessedly, will be long gone from Washington long before that (maybe this week...?).
In short, we will never see this wall built, at least during the lifetimes of most of us on this board, at anybody's expense. It's all bloviation by the Mango Mussolini to try to whip his base into a frenzy.
No.. You tax the American employers who give them jobs.
That would be a penalty, not a tax.
I'm actually fine with that. You break laws, you pay a fine.
But again, that is not Mexico paying anything, it is Americans paying.
And the comment about taxing for the export of people..... how exactly would you do that?
