So are you also fine with someone wrecking into your car without having state mandated insurance and no assets to go after?

Insurance needs a pool of low and high risks to keep costs down. But low risks folks have little incentive to buy in. There is no magic formula to make insurance affordable without this.

The only thing I'm required to have on my car is Liability so that if I damage YOU, you will be paid for. Comprehensive is for my stuff. Pay your own Comprehensive health insurance, I'm not responsible for you, your offspring, and everyone else who's thinks they are entitled to my hard earned money through taxes and fees.
