The former president was scheduled to appear at a sports analytics conference hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Friday. But if you were not an attendee at the event, don’t expect to hear much about what Barack Obama shared.
Officials managing the 12th annual MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center have put strict rules in place that extend beyond barring the media from divulging Obama’s insights.
...
Obama “will discuss his time in office and the next chapter of his life” while here, according to a conference newsletter that came out when the announcement about the former president’s panel was made last month.
NBA's Rockets' GM Morey announced Obama's visit via Twitter last month.
Interesting... he will divulge the supposed enemy his plans for war... this he wants to keep secret.
Reason obtained a recording of the speech, however, and the most newsworthy thing about it is the simple fact that the public wasn't supposed to hear it.
...
Having listened to the entire thing, I'm not sure what all the secrecy was about—it was pretty standard Obama fare, and he never once said the word Trump, though Obama did seem to imply that his White House was remarkably drama-free in contrast.
I'm not even going to post the 5 things. Feel free to read them and the link and comment.
The recording is at the link as well in case you want to waste your time.

The part about NBA and a junior league. Hockey had junior leagues for years but it's interesting to note then the NHL also drafted some players from the NCAA.
You have to love those sweeet post president payoffs...I mean speaking fees.
Obama's WH was supposedly "scandal free" because his liberal press chose to make nothing a scandal. Period. There were a myriad of scandals during his presidency, starting on day one with his Justice Department refusing to prosecute blatant Black Panther voter intimidation in Philadelphia during the 2008 Presidential election. If the Klan were out doing the same during the Bush or Trump election, not prosecuting them would have been a scandal. Next, we can go down the list from Benghazi (!!!) to Clinton's felonious and corrupt behavior as Secretary of State, to the one sided narrative on the linked Ferguson and Florida events. All absolute scandals. None made such because the press is Obama's press.
And that's a legitimate encapsulation of why Trump was elected.
