The governor of NY offered to have Delta move their hub to NY.
Governor of Virginia offered as well.

You might be right but if they were to remove Delta's break they just might. I don't think either will happen, this is just bluster by the GA governor but that's to be expected in a guns everywhere state.

Surveys by YouGov BrandIndex, which measures the reputation of prominent brands on an ongoing basis, has found no meaningful decline in the reputation of companies such as United, Delta, Avis, MetLife and Symantec. All have ended affiliations that gave NRA members discounts or perks.

In some cases, the reputational score of such companies actually improved slightly. United’s score, for instance, improved by 4.6 points, while Delta’s went up by 1.5 points. YouGov computes scores by asking survey respondents whether they have a positive or negative impression of a brand. The worst possible score is -100 (totally negative) while the best is 100 (totally positive).

As a pilot I get my perks through AOPA.

Nobody really gives a crap about perks through NRA.

Doncha hafta wonder just how big a tax break Georgia gives a tax exempt organization in the first place? I mean, how's Georgia gonna punish the NRA?

The NRA is a tax exempt organization. Yeah. 501C3, which is for educational organizations.

But you ain't been made crazy yet:
This type of non-profit is forbidden from spending any "substantial portion" of their revenue on lobbying and absolutely may not endorse candidates.
OK. Now you're crazy.
And you can never un-know this.
Incorrect.

The NRA is a 501C4, Not 501C3.

501C4 organizations can participate in political lobbying and advocacy.

If they were really serious, rather than just trolling Georgia, I suspect there would be some mighty fine offers being made to move the headquarters/hub.

They can offer what they like. It's not happening.

Delta will not be leaving the largest airport in the world and abandoning all those very very very valuable gate slots. And It would destroy their route system and service to the most populated and fastest growing region in the USA. Every single one of their competitors would love to have those gates.

Default Georgia Lawmakers Passed Law To Remove Fuel Tax Exemption For Delta in Response To Them Dropping NRA

Georgia lawmakers voted to punish Delta Air Lines Inc. on Thursday, passing a sweeping tax bill that excludes a tax break that would have saved the airline millions of dollars.

In a tweet Monday, Georgia Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle said he would ““kill any tax legislation that benefits @Delta” unless the airline rescinded its decision to end a discount for National Rifle Association members. “Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back,” he said.
