I think the Amer. news channels/websites given the fake news label most often are Fox News and CNN. Whether it is completely fake news (totally bogus) or semi-fake (exaggerated) news, can we objectively say which of these 2 Amer. news channels are more fake news-prone? By that, I mean measuring cases or standards where one channel is perhaps a worse offender than others. I guess it could depend on the topic.

Note: being Republican, I think I might believe Fox News more, but I do call recognize their biases and sometimes call it out (be it talking to another person or on social media). There's a reason I often call them "Fake News".

Both of them are guilty of passing opinion off as news. I don't trust either one - both channels are the perfect illustration of why it's increasingly important to get information from a variety of sources, and to follow the news back to its initial source.

We should stop calling them “news” channels and start calling them “opinion” channels.

Think we need to clarify what fake news is. Reporting up to the minute info that may not turn out to be right as more info comes in is not fake news, as long as a correction is issued. Opinion pieces also need to be identified as such. As far as deliberate fake news goes Fox definitely takes the cake.

Fox is more of a "newsertainment" kind of thing. They've give you a dollop of news loaded with folksy opinions that lean to the right. CNN gives a dollop of news loaded with complete hysteria. They are exhausting to listen to, especially in the morning. If I was a lib listening to them every day I'd walk out the house every morning ready to punch someone. CNN is terrible for your daily peace of mind...no wonder they're losing ratings.

Can give some examples of fake news on FOX? I mean somewhere on the same level as lets say the 'Tailgate' news story by CNN or the Dan Rather fake story about Bush's military service. ETC.

One would have to consistently watch or read both. My guess is very few people do that.
