I have always wondered why neglect of America's children is so tolerated? They should arrest parents if they don't feed their children healthy food, provide decent and specious lodging and take care of all their healthcare needs.

No Downturn In Obesity Among U.S. Kids, Report Finds | Texas Public Radio

They should arrest parents who have obese children unless it can is due to a medical conditions, like a very low thyroid function.

They should also pass laws requiring that children have very clean houses. When ever a child has respiratory issues they should have state workers do a thorough investigation and make sure the children are living in a nice home. If not that should be arrested.

So bring back debtors prisons, because everything you're describing is due to lack of disposable income

Arrest? Are you against freedom?

Just make them pay for their own medical bills, and if they can't pay, then maybe you start with further circumstances.

Nope, I am against debtors prisons. I am 100% in favor of arresting lazy parents who abuse their children with unhealthy junk food rather than cooking healthy home cooked meal.

So many children have respiratory problems these days from filthy housing. They should hire welfare mothers to do mandatory inspections of homes when children have respiratory conditions due to living conditions.

So you need money in your pocket to make smart decisions for your children? How did the folks living through the depression raise such great kids?

So folks are against helping the poor with welfare and free lunch and basic necessities but are for throwing parents in jail who can't meet the minimum requirements as you see it? OK, you don't want to help them out... so what happens to the kids when their parents are in jail?

SMH

Liberals will claim that having laws on the books to protect America's children from the many lazy, awful parents these days who refuse to raise them in a healthy environment is a civil rights violation.

For some strange reason, they really want women who are financially, physically, mentally, intellectually unfit to raise a family to have huge families that require six-figures of taxpayer money yearly just for one family.

It is almost as if liberals want poor, lazy people to pro-create as much as possible because they control hard-working American's paychecks with higher taxes.

The Democrats bribe financially, mentally, physically unfit women to have baby after baby with the promise of six-figures worth of welfare money and prizes.

It's up to each family to raise their own child. Not a third party.

Having said that it I can say with a great deal of confidence that I'm more qualified to have children than 99% of the people who actually do have kids.

And I wouldn't put myself in charge of a pet rock.

Free Lunch? How much is a hearty peanut butter and jelly sandwich, kale salad, fruit salad maybe like a dollar.

They should use the parents for infrastructure projects. They could also use them as free labor for manufacturers or construction.

They could send them to a year of picking fruit and vegetables, year of cheap labor for manufactuters or construction.

They could pay them like a $1 an hour and the rest of the money goes to foster parents, grandparents or adopted parents.
