What if feminism, LGBT, adultery, multiculturalism, etc were out and patriotism, traditional family, masculinity/true feminity, nationalism, etc were in?
Would you go to the movies more or less?
Ya know, there's a very simple solution for you conservatives who resent "liberal" Hollywood: boycott most crap Hollywood produces. This left-leaning woman manages to so very easily.
What you call America isn't America, it's China (even Russia is more conservative so I cannot even call it Russia). I want the old America back and I'll get it back....one way or the other!
Well, you can build your contemporary version of a fallout shelter and lock yourself in with a lifetime supply of "Highlights" and "Boys Life". And don't forget the DVDs of "Leave It to Beaver" and "Life with Father."
Those should prove suitable.
Nope, I just think the days of Hollywood and everyone has to see this or that movie are in the past. Even our grand kids and great grand kids do not go to the movies the way we did. It used to be a weekly activity for almost all kinds and not weekly, but certainly something adults did as well. No more!!
I never went to the movies weekly. I'm 60 -- nobody I knew ever did.
Bringing up the kids -- we went to every family movie but not weekly. How often did Disney release a movie?
that is probably one of the most stupid post I have seen, referring to the last paragraph!!!
Let's take a look at the paragraph that has you clutching your pearls.

If you think it's stupid, then show us where cuebald is wrong. List examples. We'll all wait patiently for your response.
Bwhaha. Obviously you don't watch any REALLY old movies, like pre-code stuff in the early 30's. There was an awful lot of non-conservative goings-on in those movies you wouldn't like at all!
24 year old male being intimate with a 17 year old male: perversion, deviancy, decline in American moral values.
24 year old (or 36 year old for that matter) female teacher being intimate with a 17 year old (or 14 year old) male: atta boy, high fives, where were these teachers when I was going to school wink wink.
Libertarian-themed movies are better. They actually cherish liberty, celebrate free markets, and are anti-war.
-Citizenfour
-Dallas Buyers Club
-Captain America: The Winter Soldier (VERY libertarian)
-The Hunger Games
-V for Vendetta
-Election
-Braveheart
-Tucker: The Man and His Dream
-Orwell's 1984
-Ghostbusters (the 1984 one)
-The Outlaw Josie Wales
-Farenheit 451
-Johnny Got His Gun
-The Mouse That Roared
-All Quiet on the Western Front
