Lifeexplorer, you just keep posting this nonsense. You never respond to logical questions about your posts.Your opinions are uniquely yours. Responding to them is a waste of time.

Yes, parenting is that important.

He claims, again and again, that there is some sort of due diligence that will weed out all these mass murders before they're born but never seems to get around to telling us what that entails.

Could it be because even he knows his posts here are full of crap, so he pretends not to see the questions asking for clarification?

You didn't answer the question. How will people be able to make such a guarantee? Let's hear your specific idea of due diligence that will ensure someone's child will not become a murderer. You seem to think you have found an answer, so don't hold back. Share with us.

Be specific. What would the criteria be?
Very easily. Just set up some criteria.

When the child commits a crime, let's see if the parents have done their due diligence. For example, did they provide adequate care to meet the child's health and development needs? I am sure we can come up with a list.

Ah, so you are moving the goalposts now. Your initial argument was that parents had to guarantee their children would not become mass murderers before they were allowed to procreate, remember?

How about a law that says if you can’t ensure your children not become a murderer, you aren’t allowed to have children.

Why should people be allowed to pump out murderers?
Yeah, even you realize now how stupid that sounded, huh?

Dude, that's the guarantee.

And now we come full circle. HOW can someone guarantee how their child will turn out before they're born?

Yeah, you go around and around in circles, yet you never answer that question.

We know why. It's because it's absurd on its face.

You know it, too. You just can't admit it.

They guarantee that they have adequate resources and commit to raise them properly against a set standard.

If they fail, they should be punished. Don't want the punishment, don't have children.

If they can't guarantee that, what kind of parents are they?

Your attitude shows the exact problem - parents don't own up their responsibility to raise their children.

Very good. I see you have given up this absurd idea at least:

Because, of course, no one can ensure such a thing, even those who do have adequate resources and a commitment to raise good kids. Even you are admitting it at last, though you had to be dragged to that reality.

You're making progress.

And if he does answer it's just to repeat his previous thoughts, not to address any questions that have been asked. To quote the lawman in the movie Cool Hand Luke, just before he shoots Paul Newman's character, "What we have here is a failure to communicate".
