I thought Oklahoma was Pro Life? Oh that’s right not for the ones already here. Unborn only....Hypocrites abound in OKLAHOMA.
The most pro-life Republican candidate for governor in Oklahoma isn't even catching on in the polls. If governor, he'll shut down all abortion clinics in Oklahoma. He says if Colorado can go against federal law by legalizing marijuana, then Oklahoma should be able to go against the feds and ban all abortion.
They should use a firing squad or hanging. Why go through all this nonsense in order to execute a prisoner? Cruel? Give me a break. The USA in old times would execute prisoners by hanging or firing squad. It's cheap and fast.
Both methods have their drawbacks. Hanging is an imprecise method and does not always work. When it is botched, it may lead to a cruel and unusual punishment which opens the jurisdiction to legal wrangling.
Firing squad is considered by many a barbaric method and has it's own issues with trying to find willing participants that can pass psychological testing to ensure they can handle the pressure of the act and the possible mental issues that follow taking a life. The last time a state was to use a firing squad, they were inundated with hundreds of willing volunteers to do the deed - the state wanted no part of a blood lust debacle.
What? Trump made Oklahoma OK again? I don't think so. Teachers go on strike April 2, so far.
I just read that the teachers in OK haven't had a raise since 2008 and state troopers are limited to 500 miles a week in order to save gas. Sheesh.
BTW, I've been to OK as I have a relative in a tiny town. Downtown is so depressing, there's nothing there other than a bar, a feed store, and the courthouse.
