During a visit to Austin, Texas for the annual SXSW Conference & Festival, London Mayor Sadiq Khan pleaded for stricter rules regarding what is allowed on social media, and called for tech companies to censor and remove “hate speech.”

According to Business Insider, the German government has introduced a new rule that gives social-media platforms 24 hours to decide whether something is hate speech.

Sorry Sadiq, this isn't London... we have a first amendment here. So head back to your government controlled socialist Island and preach your non-sense there ...

Good idea in banning hate speech.

Since the Quran says "kill the infidel beside you," "strike the head and hands from the unbelievers," and "fight the infidel until the end of time," and also lays down rules for committing rape, I say that the first hate speech that we ban should be any kind of reference to the Quran.

A ban on hate speech should include a total ban on the Koran, as it is nothing more than a manual on how to kill, rape and enslave anyone that doesn't agree with Islam.

The Trump administration should not even have granted a visa to the scum bag mayor of London, but alas the USA is far more tolerant than Muslims are.

The elected Mayor of powers are mainly in relation to transport, housing and policing (but not operational matters) in London. The London Mayor has far fewer powers than the New York Mayor or many other city Mayors.

The Mayor of London has nothing to do with rules regulating the internet, this is the remit of the Home Secretary Amber Rudd and Government who are responsible foir legislation, which is then passed by Parliament, and this has nothing to do with any city Mayor.

So Mayor, who gets to define HATE SPEECH? You? Other politicians with an agenda? What happens when they ban speech, and jail people for something in which you agree? Will you then cry freedom of speech?

This entire trend of European speech, and thought control is SCARY. The populous has no means to resist it. They just have to bend over, and take it. No thanks.

The Mayor doesn't get to define anything, he's not a member of the Government or even a member of Parliament, he has very few powers and is talking nonsense as usual.

Total Nonsense.

This has nothing to do with Muslims, the number of stabbings were worse in 2008, however crime fell and has sibce gone back up, as already stated the police are looking at the Scottish Violent Crme Reduction model, which has been succesful.
