As for ignorance, I've read a hell of a lot more of it on this board than I've heard from these kids. This is a country that elected a ****** as potus.
Why is "con man" made to look like profanity?

Not always. How does a little kid oversupply himself with too much food? He/she doesn't have a job. Doesn't earn a paycheck. Someone is providing them access to WAY too much food. 33% of kids in the US are obese. That's NOT self-inflicted.

Be there. It should be a good time.

"Show of Force"? Seriously? I am proud that these kids have not backed down, and are standing up for what they believe in. Way to go!

Not a very good analogy.
Like most on your side, you ignore the result of implementing "gun free" buildings.

The unintended consequences of this national stupidity is plain to see. Bad guys always seek the path of least resistance.

Yikes. Six of them? I wonder how many of them are really passionate about the cause and how many of them are feeling pressured to attend by what is apparently a very politically focused family. I know, I know, you're going to say all six of them are passionate about the cause...but they're going to say that, aren't they? They don't want the disapproval of their family.

They will vote in the not-too-distant future, and the members of the GOP who accept NRA donations need to pay attention.

Like most on your side, you ignore the fact that these people don't care if the people they plan on slaughtering have guns. That is the last thing they think of. They want to kill as many as possible before they get killed.

I got a feeling then some peoples at that anti-gun manifestation might become the future trigglypuff or Aids Skrillex aka a internet meme.

Back to the topic; most of the kids participating are doing it because of peer pressure. They don't know much about guns and don't care that they were never taught.

They get a couple of unsupervised days away from mom and dad out of town, and will get interviewed by a supportive media.
If nothing else is accomplished, there will be a lot of underage drinking and a number of pregnancies as a result of this mini-vacation!

Find a few hours of your Saturday to help soften the credibility of these events.
Younger people don't have the same ideas about guns as the older generation. The bastion of gun ownership, rural America is said to be aging and shrinking. The old 18th century ideas about the value and security gun ownership is not part of their identity. What is lost on the the critics of this youth movement is the fact that many of the anti-gun younger generation are conservative.

Yes, because over 350,000 people die every year from obesity and obesity-related diseases.

WHICH is the larger number?

Gun homicides each year, at 11,500 (with most occurring in the inner-cities with illegally obtained guns)?

Or deaths from obesity-related illness each year, at: 350,000+?
