Was watching MSNBC where Michael Steele has been a fairly regular commentator on lot of the political shows
And has been anti Trump and pointing out the confusion and lack of commitment on GOP Congress in areas like fiscal responsibility---
Tonight they were discussing John Bolton's appointment as NSA
Pretty much everyone else was aghast and discussing how it really took US foreign policy really hard right
*no surprise there

And Michael Steele was kind of a surprise because he was basically saying don't be too negative right away...
Yeah-right...

There are so many traditional Republicans who opposed Bolton when he was running for UN ambassador and working a Bush advisor to Cheney...
But since this is not a position that requires Senate oversight, there is really nothing to be done...
Especially since Trump will feel emboldened in having made this really decisive and devisive appointment
He loves nothing more than doing something that announces his power as POTUS....

I saw that show and "yes" he's a very good guest with moderate ideas and information - a true asset to the show.
